LSU Celebrates International Education Week 2019

education weekDistance education may be an amazing resource for someone who can only commit a few hours a week, but it is not for everyone. Not all schools use the same online tools. Today’s exchange students are tomorrow’s changemakers: diplomats; thought leaders; influencers in the international business and non-profit communities. It could also be used as research for teachers who want to adapt to different teaching styles and students may take more interest in what they are being taught and how they are being taught.

Students can send a gift to their favourite teacher and tell them why they still remember them after leaving the school. Its purpose then, as now, is to call attention to the importance of education and to show the public the good things happening in Alberta schools.
