A state-supported, two-year public and historically black college, Bishop State community College is located in Mobile, Alabama, in the United States. Education was my calling then, as it is today, because I know education is the key that unlocks the doors of opportunity for all children. And in 1965, Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, which provided funding for primary education, and is seen by advocacy groups as expanding access to public education for children with disabilities.
