The University of Alabama is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) UA’s master’s program in elementary education holds approval from the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
All applications will be reviewed holistically, however, prospective master’s students generally should have an undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.00 (4.00 point scale) and a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent.
