Physical Education is a way to keep the body of common man in shape and fit. Whether it is solved in a healthy or unhealthy manner, students benefit from a discussion about the solution, how it worked, and other alternatives that might be possible if they are faced with a similar conflict in the future. Games are only and should only be a part of your schools curriculum.
After high school, I did learn to appreciate the importance of physical fitness, and discovered activities that I enjoyed. We engage and support schools through a Comprehensive School Health approach, which addresses health and education goals to improve the social outcomes of children and youth in Alberta.
The Physical Education Core utilizes appropriate instructional practices to develop competence and confidence in a variety of lifetime activities and movement forms, including sports, dance, outdoor recreation, and physical fitness. Today they spend many hours in school and in after school activities that take up a large majority of their time.
These will serve as means to ensure fidelity of the intervention training delivery to participating PE teachers. Physical education teaches students the importance of physical health. There are various level of sports activities that one can engage in such as amateur, leisure, and professional sports.
Physical education also provides psychological benefits such as improving general mental health, concentration, awareness and positive mood. Students’ learning in physical education supports the overall vision of senior cycle education which is to develop students as resourceful, confident, engaged and active learners.
