American college students in education need to know how important continuous learning is to their future success after they graduate from college. One of the ways in which America’s educational system can be improved vastly for the next generation is an increased emphasis on professional teacher development. As educators, we should never stop learning and reading. At first traditional educators taught these courses but over time that has changed, especially as adjuncts filled a majority of the instructional roles.

The teacher is the expert and directs the learning process. As the Head of Learning Technology, he hones his own craft and skills by building apps, creating books on storytelling with digital technology, and delivering YouTube videos on tips and tricks for using technology for learning.
