Showcasing and celebrating excellence in education through open days, exhibitions and special events. This week dedicated to education will be an opportunity for the Youth Forum to highlight its priorities on education policy, including the revision of the ET2020, the European Area of skills and qualifications, the implementation of the 2012 Council Recommendation on the validation of non-formal and informal learning the recognition and validation of non-formal and informal learning, and the post-2015 agenda on education.

This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.

Furthermore, from December 1 through December 15, Apple Stores around the world will increase Today at Apple coding sessions to celebrate Computer Science Education Week There will be new interactive sessions for people of all skill levels, while select stores will offer specific sessions for different age groups.

Global Affairs, in collaboration with UC Davis partners, plans and hosts a diversity of International Education Week programming here on campus and encourages students, faculty, and staff to share their international stories and experiences on social media using #GlobalAggies.
